UBC Thunder - Tryout Information - 2026

We are pleased to open registration for the 2026 UBC Thunder Tryout Process, scheduled for December 8–10, 2025. Each athlete is required to attend one 2-hour intake session, with group sizes capped at 25 players to ensure a consistent, quality evaluation experience. Spaces are limited and expected to fill quickly; should you encounter any challenges during registration, please email thunder.baseball@ubc.ca and our staff will assist.

Tryouts are organized into Bantam cohort (Grades 8–9; Birth Years 2011–2012) and a combined Junior/Senior cohort (Grades 10–12; Birth Years 2008–2010). Bantam athletes will also participate in a callback session on December 14. A nominal registration fee is required to participate.

Bantam

Please note that PBL catchment policies determine player eligibility. UBC Thunder’s designated catchment boundaries are outlined on BC Premier Baseball League website for your convenience.
